At Rider’s we have a full service shop staffed with many experienced technicians and stocked with over 15’000 parts to fix any make and model of bicycle.
Whether it’s a minor brake or gear adjustment or a complete overhaul, we’re ready to fix you up and keep you riding. You Ride, We Provide.

Name: Steve Leithwood

Around since the stone ages, Steve Leithwood has been building wheels since they were square. Steve has been a mechanic for nearly 30 years and a part of the Rider’s Cycles crew for over 15. As a master mechanic and wheel builder, he has had the opportunity to perfect his skills. Hand-building wheels for every type of rider, from three time x-terra world champion Melanie Mcquaid to the discerning rider who just wants the best. You ride, Steve provides.

 

 

Name: Jon "the Kid" Kidson

Beginning as a home mechanic in 1998, working on his Proflex, Jon has developed a love for the bicycle industry and its ever progressing technology. With his enthusiasm for suspension design serving as a catalyst for his entry into the industry, Jon pursued a position with Riders Cycles and has been with us since 2005. Jon has recently achieved " Suspension Guru" status by successfully completing Fox & Marzocchi training.

Service Includes:

• Lubricate chain and front/rear derailleurs.
• True front and rear wheels, and clean both braking surfaces
• Adjust hubs
• Adjust brakes – check pads
• Check cables
• Adjust front and rear derailleurs
• Check rear derailleur hanger alignment.
• Final safety check

Major Tune-Up $74.95


Service Includes:

Minor +

• Inspect and clean frame and fork.
• Remove drive train, and degrease/clean components (chain, cranks, cassette, front and rear derailleurs).

Complete Overhaul $149.95

A MUST service package for the serious cyclist.

Service Includes:

Major+

• Strip bike down to bare frame, clean and inspect frame for damage and cracks.
• Overhaul bearings in headset, bottom bracket and front/rear hubs. Hubs include rebuild with new bearings.
